Excerpt: Home Improvement is not just about hammers, nails and drywall.  It’s about improving everything about what makes your house a home!  Why are we crazy about kitchen remodels?  Because we love to EAT GREAT FOOD! One of the best cooks I personally know is Jennifer Lamoureux.  She has been gracious enough to share with us a cautionary tale that all would be home gourmets should heed… (the words are hers…the sick & twisted graphics are all me!  hee hee hee) In matters of the home, my dad is a total type A personality and my mom is not. Excerpt: Many of our clients work from home.   One of  our clients who does is Pat Weber, who is a “Personal Coach for the Sales Reluctant”. We’ve had the pleasure of both working on her beautiful home in Williamsburg as a contractor as well as being entertained there as a guest. When it comes to working from home, she knows her stuff!  I asked her if we could post this great article she wrote on her blog.  We were thrilled when she consented!  So, here it is:   How do you minimize family distractions when working from home It had to happen. The Space Saver – Crown Moulding Shoe Shelves

One of the cooler ideas we’ve seen in a while. In the “less is more category” how great is this? Crown Molding Shoe Shelves- perfect space saver storage. 8′ base pine base molding and 8′ crown molding + white spray paint. Wood glue crown on to base molding, finish nail to hold in place while drying, spray paint, install w/ 2 screws onto wall studs

Pullout Shelves Under the Stairs

In the “coolest idea” category, how about this?   The idea is from a company in the UK, but our carpenters can do this onsite at your home! What would you use the extra space for?  Christmas Decorations? No more dragging stuff up to the attic?

Can you ever have “too much” storage area in your home?
